I can not forget to mention Cherrybrook Kitchen mixes as an excellent option for a cake mix. If you are allergic to soy and eggs, you just add butter and your choice of oil. If you are allergic to dairy then you can use a non-dairy margarine. Although, there are a few problems that I do need to point out. The brownie mix does not have the consistency of brownies. It is like cake, but it still tastes good. The cookie mix does not have enough sugar in it. So I recommend putting an extra several tablespoons of brown sugar in it or even vanilla. I’ve tried adding extra vanilla to the cake and brownie mixes and I think it does improve the taste. I also highly recommend adding 1 teaspoon of mint extract to the chocolate cake and brownie recipes for a chocolate mint flavor. It’s very good!!
